Valorant Patch 3.01 Agent Levels List
Valorant Patch 3.01 made some bugfixes for agents, but not many significant changes for agents and their balance. Of course, in hindsight, after patch 3.00, some agents moved into the patch 3.01 tier list.
Here’s how Valorant’s Agents stack up in patch 3.01.
Level S – Cypher, Killjoy, Omen, Sage, KAY / O
Similar, but not quite the same. Cypher, Killjoy, and Omen remain at level S, with Sage’s stock increasing. The rising price of Sage’s barrier wall (C) deterred some players from using Sage, but on the other hand, it encouraged smarter play with the wall, helping Sage regain his rhythm. The newest S-level addition, KAY / O, is a no-brainer, with ZERO / point (E) providing a game-changing effect for teammates and opponents.
One level – Viper, Jett, Sova, Raze, Skye
A level has the same crew before, although with patch 3.02 on the horizon this may change. With Jett, Sova, and Raze, it’s the price changes from 3.00 that still hold them back, especially Raze. 400 credits for his boombot (C) is a high cost, and that keeps him out of his S-level potential at the moment.
Level B – Brimstone, Phoenix, Astra, Reyna
The differences between A and B level agents are perhaps the slimmest to date. Brim, Phoenix, Astra, and Reyna are all talented and can even beat S-level agents with the right player. With her demotion from A Tier, Reyna fans might be put off, but with her party or famine abilities, B Tier is the right place for her.
Level C – Breach, Yoru
Level C, unfortunately, does not receive any changes. Yoru has great potential, but his utility requires high-level play to compete with other Duelist options. And compared to its Initiator counterparts, Breach isn’t as strong as Sova or Skye. Patch 3.02 might bring hope to the Breach principals, but they shouldn’t be counting on it.
