Musk X Æ A-12’s son, who was born on May 4 last year in the midst of the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, has left a lot of people scratching their heads and racking their brains over the right one way of pronouncing his name. Many have even wondered what this cryptic code-like name means. While Canadian musician Grimes previously explained the meaning of X Æ A-12, Musk on SNL joked that it was pronounced “Cat running through the keyboard”. The joke came when his monologue in the series caused a lot of laughter on the internet as well as among fans.
Later, Grimes revealed that she and Musk had changed their son’s name in accordance with California law, where names must be written on birth certificates using the 26 alphabetic letters of the English language, but single quotes and dashes can also be included. As a result of this in the birth certificate, the baby’s first name is “X”, her middle name is “AE A-XII” and her last name is “Musk”, according to an independent report.
• X, the unknown variable ⚔️ • Æ, my Elvish spelling of Ai (love & / or Artificial intelligence) • A-12 = precursor of SR-17 (our favorite plane). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in combat, but not violent + (A = Archangel, my favorite song) (⚔️ metallic rat) – Grimes (@Grimezsz) May 6, 2020
Earlier this year, Claire Elise Boucher, known professionally as Grimes, shared a video of their son playing on a portable keyboard. Grimes celebrated his 33rd birthday on March 17 and the musician wrote that the kid, all 10 months old, surprised his mother with a loop on her keyboard.
The singer wrote: “It’s my birthday !!! Also little X made a loop on my keyboard? Probably an accident, but he played a super fire earlier. “
